I first worked with Erik Sjolund on a rather time-sensitive 1031Exchange transaction where I had found my up leg before I had sold my own leg. He was instrumental in managing the expectations of the seller's agent and keeping the transaction on course. Amazingly enough, Erik got me to buy that building after contacting me out of the blue, basically a cold call. He provided me with enough information that I was intrigued and went to look at it that day. Since that transaction, he has kept up with me -- calling from time to time and showing me just the properties that he knows I would be interested in.
